The suspension mods are all done.
Koni sports 200lbs front springs on adjustable platforms, 968 rear torsion bars.
Lindsey arbs M030 spec, Hartech comp front wishbones, Racers edge adjustable top mounts all bushes replaced and/or uprated.
Pinched the old Cup2s from my 993.
Ride height set at M030 and full geo by Center of Gravity.
Result is brilliant not too harsh and beautifully balanced handling.
Slight problem with rear spacers, went for 15mm bolt on hubcentric but there is not enough clearance for the studs so added another 7mm. No problems with arch clearance. Some wheels may have a recess for the studs but the Cup 2s don't have enough so beware if using bolt on spacers. Fronts have 3mm shim spacers just to get the ET closer.
Car looks more purposeful with the arches filled and slightly lower ride height.
All brake lines replaced with new discs and backing plates.
Roll on next track day. :D

Looking good - I think I'm on approx 500lb fronts with my KW's now, but standard S2 ARB's. Of course it's easier to increase spring rates when you can fit rear springs to run alongside the torsion bars.

What brakes are you running? I'm trying PF 08's now in standard calipers

Pagid yellows in the front and std in the back, added the 968 air deflector to the front wishbone.
I use the car daily so didn't want to go too stiff. The fronts squeal occasionally when the dust has built up so I've had to pull them and regrease the sides .

Pagid RS29 Yellows are a superb pad, we run and supply them for plenty of BMW race cars, as you say they can squeeal a little when used at low temps but the modulation and bite out weigh the squealing 10 fold.

Looking good! Every 944 needs firmer springs IMO. It looks well on the Cup 2's :)

Must try Pagids some time - although they do seem a lot more expensive than the PF's. Do they leave metal deposits in the paintwork? The PF 97's were dreadful for that..

I don't think my S2 is any stiffer than my m030 986S TBH - as Rich says, they can take a fair bit more spring rate. Of course the KW's are supposed to have some clever tech that makes them less harsh over large bumps, but even so, my car is still fairly comfy, even with race seats (and no soundproofing :) )

btw - "all" bushes... which ones were the worst to do? What did you use for the rear?

No Metal deposits in the Pagids so that will help :D im pretty good on prices for them so let me know if you need any in the future always help out fellow Porsche and BMW track guys, Have a look at Intrax dampers we do a fair amount with them quality is just superb in every way.
