Hi, would someone please tell me the correct tension on the above belts, or how to get the correct tension ? Thanks Neal |

A lot will depend on the belts & how new they are. I normally look for somewhere between 1/4"-3/8" play on the longest run under firm finger pressure. The PAS belt is easy, getting the alternator one right is a fiddle as the loading is higher. Do not overtighten you'll knacker the PAS or alternator bearings. |

Hi, thanks for replies, belts are new so will a 1/4 " deflection suffice ? Regards Neal |
