Post subject:  944 AFM mixture screw

The mixture screw is seized solid in my AFM. The hex socket head has been rounded and there is no cap, so well corroded. During efforts to find my over rich mixture problem, which now looks like the FPC regulator, I thought of trying to a adjust the mixture see if it made any difference, but can't. I have drowned with frequent amounts of WD, but the only way I can attempt to turn it is with an easy out. This would be a one way ticket if I start trying to wind it out. Does anyone know if these adjustment screw winds all the way out? I could replace with another screw if this is the case. If not may just leave it or get another AFM. I'd appreciate any ideas.
