Hi,
Does anyone have any tips on installing the outside rubber windshield trim on a late windshield? I want to install it before the glass guy comes.

Thanks

When I had the screen replaced on my 944 the fitter put the new seal trim onto the windscreen first, then they placed the newly bonded screen in to the aperture.

Before you let the windscreen guy near your car, remove the A pillar trims. They're really easy to accidentally cut when an existing screen is removed and equally easy to accidentally "bond in" to the new screen. The A pillar trims are no longer available new and very hard to source in good condition used, particularly if you need an "unusual" colour. Three screws (on each trim) is all it takes to remove them and save yourself grief.
