Not been able to find this information anywhere so I thought I'd ask you knowledgable lot.

One of my headlights sits slightly higher than the other and when lowered one sits below the bodyline and the other slightly above. There's not a lot of different in them but it's enough to send the beams all over the place and before trying to adjust them I thought I'd try and sort this height issue out first.

So how would I go about getting them at the same level?

The actual housing is adjusted by 3 bolts on a triangular bracket. The outside triangle is reached up under the wheel arch liner, the inner triangle can be seen when the headlight is up. On my later cars the beam itself is adjusted via screws on the corner of the lens mounting (not sure if it is the same on early cars)

Yup the screws are there on the housing to adjust the beam. Just thought it would be a good idea to get them an equal height first.

Once you get the units level, the bottom adjusting screw is for up & down and the top screw is for left & right.
