Hi guys finally got around to rebuilding the rear wiper after it sucked a big kumara a few weeks back. Pulled the mechanism apart to find it full of hardened sludge and the circular gear teeth stripped. Swapped over the parts from another unit ad got it all back together. However, when I went to test it there was nothing, nada, zilch. There doesn't seem to even be any power to the leads, and I cant find a fuse dedicated to the rear wiper. The 30A one for the windscreen wipers is fine. Is there a fuse for the rear wiper, or is the problem slightly more difficult/sinister than that? TIA Mike in Aotearoa |

If your not getting power to the motor, have you checked the multi plug for the tailgate that's located in the rear quarter? Is there a chance its melted or perhaps become disconnected? |
