I didn't get any responses - so ended up low loading the car to Banbury. That was a job too - as the tow eye hole was rusted up and could only screw it in one half turn! Anyway, after some fiddling, scraping and plenty of WD40, it screwed in 80% and worked fine. Apparently, the original 25 year old Porsche immobiliser was a four circuit unit and was located under the passenger seat - the only place I didn't look! The new unit is fitted and works fine, but cost £370 including vat and labour.
