Has anybody had crap service from this bunch! Orders a oil cooler gaskit and o ring kit for a 944 cab and s2, none of the parts I need are in the kit, I mean none!!!
Now they tell me my s2 has an internal oil cooler and no oil pipes!!!
I'm surprised they even realise the new Porsches are water cooled now!!
Not a happy bunny as many hours work to find I don't have the parts I need.

Not used them for a while but always got good service in the past including once when the wrong item was dispatched. Quickly sorted. Hope you get it resolved.

I've used them a few time all been good. I did buy a fuel pump relay from them that was faulty but they replaced it straight away.

Dude...ring up 9-apart and ask to speak to Simon. He will sort...I know he will. Simon is one of the, if not THE most supportive person ever of our club from as many years back as I can remember (I joined in the mid 90s) he has been a big supporter/sponsor at his local region and when I was national event organiser he was a main sponsor and a top bloke too!!

Hope all is resolved swiftly and smoothly

Buttercup is decent fellow, but Im not sure how hands-on he is now and the firm is full of people who 'know everything' about Porsches. I was always happy to recommend Porschapart / Simon Butterworth, but I think that he needs to get his eye back on the ball, and really mixing metaphors, his hand back on the reins.

I live fairly near and have used them a lot, never had a problem. Hope you get it sorted, I know the organisation has changed recently (including the name).

I was dealing with Simon when he was selling parts out of his garage in the early 90's.A great bloke and very helpful.I bought some radiators and brake discs from them for my 996 turbo a year or so ago and dealt with Simon.

That made me smile because I have posted the very same thing on many occasions! I usually add 'driving a TNT delivery van, before he was caught by the Revenue Men'.

I did something similar to Simon, but NEVER TOOK CHEQUES! :o)

Dear rapidstu,
We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the service you received from 9Apart, however before you start to slander us can we please point out the facts.
The oil cooler kit you purchased off ebay was actually the kit for the cooler that is situated in the oil filter housing of a 944 or the thermostat housing as it is on a S2, it does not state anywhere that it is for the external oil cooler. A seal kit is not available for the external cooler as it would only consist of 2 o-rings. It would also look nothing like the parts you bought that were clearly pictured in the ebay listing.
We have added a parts diagram to show you what you bought.
If there was any uncertainty a simple phone call or ebay question to any of our staff, who would have happily advised you before purchasing would have cleared this up.
At 9Apart we always do our best to offer a friendly and knowledgeable service. We realise that in such a small and tight knit community such as the Porsche one, word of mouth and good customer service is what keeps customers returning to you.
We will happily issue a refund if you send the part back because we see that as good customer service.

Regards,
Simon.

Simon is very much hands on and still holds the reins...both of his sons work with him who have been brought up learning all things Porsche from a very young age..!!.. I wouldn't want to say they know everything about Porsche but I have spoken to Ben a number of times and he has been very helpful with parts I have needed for my business

The name change was a forced one. I don't know how much cash Simon has but when Porsche AG are on your case then you pretty much do as they ask...they do seem to have a bottomless pit of money...did I read they make over £5m a day profit? Should have bought some shares...
