Well, it will not come as a surprise to know that mine was not working and has been stuck at 9.6 miles since I've had it. Then I took the clock/gauge unit out today to replace the bulbs and clean my rugby balls and discovered that the odo switch wasn't mechanical... I cleaned my balls and degreased the flexible PCB contact strips then threw it all back together again. Switched the ignition on to check everything then heard a slight clunk from the dash and saw that the trip meter had reset to zero! Hmmm ... I'm wondering if this will be a fix, or whether it will jam at 9.6 miles again. Then again, the main odometer gave up the ghost 100 miles into the French trip last year - I wonder if that's 'fixed' now too! G |

![]() Probably not far off what I paid in truth - Having said that, it only took me 5 minutes to get the clocks out again last night, and about the same to put them back so that's not a huge job, but the fun and games start with the disassembly of the clocks I think. G |
