According to the PET there seem to be two temperature sensors on my car - illustration 906-00, items 21 (p/n 047 919 501 A) and 27 (p/n 944 606 125 00). Are these both coolant sensors, and where are they located ? Clark's wiring diagram only seems to show one. |

Yes, both are coolant temperature sensors. "944 606 125 00" provides temperature information to the ECU (it has a blue top). "047 919 501 A" provides temperature information to the water temperature gauge. Check your engine number against those listed for "item 21" on 101-10 as you may need the alternate part "928 606 201 01". Illustration "101-10" in PET shows their location on the crank case (basically under the inlet manifold on the LHS [from the driver's perspective] of the block). |
