Having one of those days. Found the route cause of the overheating problem, the radiator was solid with gunk, so much so that when I removed the rad drain plug nothing happened! Poked around a bit with screwdrive and a load of gunk came out. Flushed it again, clean water now flowing from drain hole. Put plug back in to refill and the bloody thing snapped!

Need to g et a replacement in a hurry, any suggestions?

Mine just snapped the other day too and it wasn't very easy getting the stub out either...

Luckily it was when I was borrowing a bit of ramp time at my local garage on a Sunday morning. We had a quick look round the back and found a knackered VW radiator with a near identical drain plug (same thread anyway) :)
