trying to refit the carpet in a 968, the loom and carpet are from a 944 turbo and im having issues with the routing of the cables under the carpet, along the sill area each side and under the passenger side carpet

Mine been in bits longer than I can remember but I think the cable sits above the carpet and is covered by the sill finisher
but I'll stand corrected if anyone knows better :D

Its certainty like that on my 24
had the carpets up many times on both to install new speaker cabling.
a decent adhesive is required to keep it in place

Passenger side, cabling runs along floor, pushed up against sill - cabling pulled out to ease access in photo

I'm sure that's not standard, must get in the way of the handbrake :?

Cabling has been lifted to allow access to floor, as I was removing sound deadening
