Porsche Bournemouth have taken on this rather neglected 924. It is good to see a top selling sports car of the period being brought back to life.

Was watching this on eBay. Went for a princely sum. I bet two or three OPCs were bidding against each other in the desperate attempt to get a transaxle restoration project for this years competition. I may be wrong, but I reckon there will be £25-30k sunk into that one :D

Yes it was from Ebay for £2700. I hope to photograph the finished car.

If this was television that would be in two weeks and the restore would cost only £10,000!

Mr Brewer 'n Ed did a 924 in the early days of WD, back in the time when 924's cost more than a "bag of sand!"..... they replaced the NS door, and mopped the paintwork. bosh! like 'new' :lol:
