 Post subject: Speedometer and Odometer not working.

Well, my speedo and odo aren't working on my 944 :(
I've checked the gear in the dash and all looks good to me, so next port of call is the sensor on top of the transaxle. Is there a way I can test if this is working with a multimeter or something?
