Tried a search but to no avail and I really don't want to break them as I have previous for
this!!

Do the door cards need to come off or is there a certain technique to it? I had a wee go
on the drivers side and it felt like it was going to snap.

The plan is to fit a pair of the Alpines as they seem ok for the money unless anyone has
alternatives?

Cheers

Hi Kenny - My door (S2) speakers are both self-tapped , each corner, thru' the mesh grille into the door panel, (ie not the door card), which in turn supports the speaker units themselves. The plastic outer trim piece comes off without being damaged.

Hi, same as above - grill just clips over - pull from bottom - the Alpines are a good fit but I had to whittle the plastic housing / retainer a little to get it to fit the oval shape a little.

The grill's used to 'pop off' sometimes when shutting the doors - so a small dab of sealent top and bottom might be required !

Hope this helps, Paul
