Hi, I have a mate with a 924 who thinks his clutch has gone, he asked me what sort of job a clutch change was on a 924, and was it an engine out job? I had to admit that I have not the slightest idea about front engined Pcars mechanicals, but knew some folk that do........................................ ![]() |

Can be engine out leaving the bell housing/torque tube in the car OR gearbox out and pulling the torgue tube back so the bell housing comes off. Six and two threes which is harder or more time consuming. Depends if other work is required 'whilst in there' at either end which makes engine or gearbox out more sense. Circa a full day or so and £500 labour for a garage plus parts. |

Pretty much what Steve said. On my S2 I took the engine out but only because the damage to it was unviable to repair. |
