The roof gutters have one each that run from the A pillars to the hatch. They are roughly £30 for the pair. There are two for the roof section, one inner and one outer. The outer one is the felt type looking material that you see going around the rim of the roof section, the inner is like a plastic beading. KennyP |

That's the problem , I have to do it as my roof leaks unfortunately, I may try to just replace the maun seal & see how that goes to begin with. |

The seals aren't watertight anyway, they keep most of the water out but not all. Even on worn seals, the amount of water coming through should easy drain through the 4 drain holes If you have leaks, there are many causes and many threads on this and other forums. First make sure all 4 drain holes are clear and water flows nicely out of the bottom of each. Sometimes the metal part of the drain can have a crack in it and water leaks from there, the hose can also go hard and crack or has been trapped and split. Rear Qtr window seals can leak or the interior trim that overlaps the spperture acts like a wick and draws water in and down the rear trim panel. Other causes can be the rust holes under the battery on in that area |

As above, but after pouring hot water down the drain tubes, if all is well there then I found the inner one solved the problem on mine. The outer is a pita to fit, no doubt. I think it took three or four attempts to sort and it still sits slightly proud, but crucially, after much phaff, no leak.....yet. There is conflicting info out there, the outer seal looks like it should be the main concern, but in my case the inner one is what cured it. As a by product, wind noise was also reduced. At the end of the day the panel is of a composite/plastic compound with moving plastic gear teeth to secure and raise it and that must create many variables in the sealing area. KennyP |

I believe the outer seal isn't a water tight seal anyway hence the four drain tubes. It seems to be a capillary action via the inner seal that causes leaks.... BTW, I'm trying all sorts to fix my leak and the inner seal is my last port of call ![]() |

New inner seal is cheap about £12 when you fit it take note one edge is longer than the other, and fill it with some clear silicone when you fit it |
