Having to take my recently repaired spare front wing off due to poor fitment, think it was a pattern one,Note to self alway double check fitment.
I just wondered what seam sealent you use and weather it's normal or a glue type and the make
Cheers

Well now...

I think I might have given myself a bit of a headache because when I did my front end last year I used a black silicone adhesive called Everbuild. Everything went fine with the silicone doing its thing... I also sealed the holes around the rear valence mounting points with it... Last week I needed to remove one of the valences - it was stuck like a complete b@stard, so much so that I thought I'd forgotten a mounting bolt somewhere. It finally pinged off with the help of a small prybar. That was two blobs the size of a 50p piece.

My wings have this stuff on them from the nose to the bottom of the bulkhead. I'm not sure if they'll ever come off again...

Thanks for the reply, think I may go for something a little less sticky just in case I need to take something off again, just got to get the right one.
I did get one out of a local body shop but was not that impressed with it, I may try some built
That does seem very strong suff you used on the car.
Cheers

I think it will prove awkward if not fatal when it comes to pulling the shoulder capping off my Cab...

Might be better off speaking to a motor factor or auto paint supplier.- which of course is what I should have done in the first place.

I suggest popping into your local body shop supplier and ask their advice.
Or just pop into a body shop, they may even have some spare to sell you
