Hi, apparently the temperature gauge sensor (two prong) as found in the 2.5S was also used in other manufacturer engines - a member once told me one from a Land Rover 'something' was compatible & cost around a fiver...unfortunately that PM has been cleared from my inbox along with the link to an eBay item. Anyone know which one? |

Aha Waylander! Thanks. (I'm talking about the temp sensor for the gauge with the two spade connectors under the intake not the DME one with the blue top.) ![]() |

Be careful if a Land Rover/Triumph part is sourced. Cheap they may be but my gauge in my Stag gave 3 different readings on 3 different but identical sensors. I go so sick of cheap parts that I eventually ran the fan at a slightly lower temperature ; I believe the new owner has gone to a capillary gauge. |
