Can a car running rich cause a hot start issue? Since I changed the check valve it starts but its always an effort. Driving with the hood down today and I got a whiff of exhaust fumes and it smelt rich to me. I know I need to clean the k&n, but its got me thinking - poor air flow coming in, causing it to run rich equals poor hot start? Its also chipped which probably doesn't help with the richness. |

Could be the oxygen sensor if it has one |
