sold my turbo today2.5k,excellent pedigree all history since day 1,but had a really hard job convincing the guy that it was a genuine turbo,loads of jmg history too, but because it didn't say 952 or turbo on the logbook,, thought it may have been reshelled or built from a 8v car?he eventally rang Porsche with the chassis no ,all came back ok ,but does anybodys logbook say 952 or turbo?id be interested to know!!

The VIN number is your friend. A Turbo will start "WPOZZZ95..." A normally aspirated car will start "WPOZZZ94..."

Yup VIN will tell you. My vin has 95 in it and says 944 turbo in log book.

no,took out headlining as it leaked like a sieve, bottoms of front wings bit raggedy, and torque tube bearings a bit rattly on tickover,been up on axle stands in the workshop for two years, got sick of idiots telling me its worth £1500 tops i,got all the bits to do it {even the paint!},but no time......plus I know it will get done too ,better than some muppet tuning it into a track car or worse breaking it....
