sold my turbo today2.5k,excellent pedigree all history since day 1,but had a really hard job convincing the guy that it was a genuine turbo,loads of jmg history too, but because it didn't say 952 or turbo on the logbook,, thought it may have been reshelled or built from a 8v car?he eventally rang Porsche with the chassis no ,all came back ok ,but does anybodys logbook say 952 or turbo?id be interested to know!! |

The VIN number is your friend. A Turbo will start "WPOZZZ95..." A normally aspirated car will start "WPOZZZ94..." |

Yup VIN will tell you. My vin has 95 in it and says 944 turbo in log book. Stuart |

no,took out headlining as it leaked like a sieve, bottoms of front wings bit raggedy, and torque tube bearings a bit rattly on tickover,been up on axle stands in the workshop for two years, got sick of idiots telling me its worth £1500 tops i,got all the bits to do it {even the paint!},but no time......plus I know it will get done too ,better than some muppet tuning it into a track car or worse breaking it.... ]} |
