In the process of belts, seals, etc.

Want to replace corroded nuts and bolts here and there to tidy things up as I go, but is there any spec??? Most of the ones I want to replace are for brackets and fittings.

Can I just replace with stainless?

as long as they meet or exceed 8.8 specs, there are a few 12.1 around as well

But is it ok to go for A2 stainless instead?

I used A2 stainless bolts for the water pump to prevent corrosion issues down the line so personally I think it's a good idea. For the tensioner studs etc I'd stick to OE fasteners though.

I was thinking of using them more for the various brackets and other not important stuff just to tidy up a bit. Plan to keep anything remotely important OE.

Think I'm going for the A2.

just remember A2 is pretty soft, don't get over excited tightening them up
