Quite a funny story from today. I was on my way to play football today (wish i hadn't have bothered as I can't walk now due to suspected broken hallux) Anyway, it was a 45 mile journey and as usual, i was running a tad late. I take out my white 924S and hit the A3, i'm doing around 70mph  , when i start to hear a whistling, from the location I assume it's the top screen trim, as it has rusted clips that need replacing and doesn't sit flush The whistling suddenly gets much louder, then for a second it stops. Then Bang !! ![]() What the **** was that ? I now have a knocking sound , that seems like it's under the bonnet around the battery area, I slow to 60 and it goes away. back to 70 and it knocks again. I'm thinking maybe it wasn't the trim now Finally I find somewhere to come off of the A3, I get out and my upper screen surround is hanging out and bent in half, at speed this was flapping and hitting the top of the A pillar. No nasty damage done, but a warning for those who also have loose trims ..... SLOW DOWN !!!! |
