Should have replaced the valve really, not expensive you can buy them from Mercedes they use the same one

I did look, but could find them any anywhere, so assumed they only came with pump. any idea of part numbrs for it or what to ask for?

You can buy them at any Bosch fuel injection specialist you don't have to use OPC for them

Ask them for an 040 or 044 pump non return valve

Cheers, with that info. I have found demon tweeks do them, less than a tenner. Job done. At least ive loosed all the nuts and bolts ready to fit. Thanks again.
