If the cars still on its original shock absorbers and springs they'll definitely be past their best, replacing them will make a huge difference but I wouldn't be looking to up grade them to performance parts. As its a convertible scuttle shake will be your enemy if you go too firm. I would keep with OEM parts & replace the suspension bushes at the same time. |

Thought as much. Suppose stiffer suspension would probably cause more scuttle shake. I must admit how suprised I was, first time I had hood down properly the other day and experienced scuttle shake. The cab hood must be very ridged, as it doesn't do it when its up. |

With hood down,mine is quite bad. The roads here are shite and it came with 17" alloys which probably nakes it worse. Hood up much better. I would stick to standard suspension,its never going to be a race car. |
