Had a bit of a mad moment and decided to have a go at the centre console arm rest, the screw kept falling out and it was driving me nuts..

so i stripped it down .......................

Image

repaired the screw holes with the Donken Plastix repair kit

Image

popped down to my local trimmers B-Trim and bought a left over bit of leather.

Image

more than big enough for £3 is was not complaining it not an exact clour match but its very close.

Cut out a bit about the right size and cleaned the console and plastered it in contact adhesive and the leather too.

Image

Half way there, bit of corner fettling to do but getting close
Image
not looking too bad now..
Image

All put back together ready to go back in the car, not bad for a bit of glue and £3

I did the same a few months ago along with the A pillar covers as some over zealous windscreen fitter had sliced through them when changing the screen.

Very tidy from above. I put a bit off carpet in the base to stop the rattle from my tools, manly socket set for hose clamps. Been handy for Boost pipes

Very very nice :bounce:

My interior could do with a complete retrim, as it's a slightly larger job can I offer you £10

New hinges are about £15 from your local Porsche Centre, or a piece of duct tape lasts a few months temporarily

If you want to bodge the cassette box. Get some rubber fold it in half to make a Hong and staple it to both sides off box. Found my car like this after a respray.
