Anyone have any idea what the original radio cassette models were for the above car?

Any info appreciated

SE was what PCGB called the 1988 M758 Turbo S. I owned one when they were still new-ish and it was fitted with a Panasonic F35. I have just looked at an interior photograph of PCGBs press car (E868 FJM) and it too has the F35 and doesn't have an equaliser below it.

If you mean a 1989 250PS Turbo then it will have had an F35 too. Ive owned a 2.7 (with 10spk, in the nineties) and more recently another 2.7l with normal speakers and they both had an F35 too. I also know someone with a '90 Turbo and they have an F35 also.

So: Panasonic F35.

My 1990 S2 came with a Panasonic F35, which I've just pulled out of it for a newer Sony!

There's no such thing as a '1990 Turbo SE'. Its a made up name based on error and PCGBs rather odd rename of the 1988 Turbo S (in France Sonauto renamed the Turbo S the 'Turbo Cup - much better).

If you look at contemporary brochures and price lists you will see that I am correct. Its a 1990 944 Turbo.
