Fronts not too bad although I've done easier ones. Rears personally I'd give it to an Indie, they can be a pig.

Thanks, I mistakenly sold mine a few years ago before they commanded the premiums of today! and your in luck as I sold my 944 towards the end of last year so they're bound to rocket in price now too ;-)

As for replacing the rear wheel bearings I did both of mine on my driveway. I bought all the tools & parts required and including the bearings it came in at under £200. If you've never done them before you'll take about 6-8Hrs to do the pair.

Definately give the rears to an indie. I had a look at doing the ones on the 968 and after reading the pain others had gone through doing it I decided against it. It cost me £370 all in to have both done.

Cheers av had this car from March birthday present to myself big 50 lol loads of history every mot from new. Want a 911 next haha ma mate has a 1985 super sport and a 911(996) maybe one day lol
