Gents, (and Ladies of course)

Is there a knack to removing the wiring in the doors when removing them, or is it just perseverance without damaging the wires, and where about's can I obtain a dimplex connector pins in the UK for the mirror plug as it has corrosion on mine?

your assistance is ever appreciated!

Hi Dave

I've assumed a flag mirror but as you didn't state which car you have
Also what connectors do you mean ?
mirror side or door side ?

Have you tried OPC ?

The parts catalog shows the mirror side pins as N 017 564 1 and the plastic holder as 803 971 980

Wiring stays in the door, in plug the connectors under the dash

Then remove the harness from the door if needed through the regulator access hole

Sorry, many thanks,

I have flag mirrors, and have noticed a broken pin causing intermittent mirror operation but was taking the door off anyhow to weld a new outer sill panel.
