Its used to switch off the driving lights in the front bumper,the ones that come on with your mainbeam. |

Take the switch out & see if its wired up, only models of a certain year had this switch and perhaps a previous owner filled the blank with a dummy switch? |

Its wired up, I put new bulbs in too so its not them. I'll have to have a play with a multi meter when I get time! |

Do be aware that this switch only activates the bumper lights full beam when you also have the stalk pulled for full beam on the popup lights. |

Just tried it like you said and I can here the relay clicking |

Itll be an earth problem - it always is. All series one 944s and all 924s had a switch; it was only series two 944s which couldn't turn them off. |
