Sorry I'm no mechanic. But I've just got in my 944 2.7 lux today for a nice Sunday drive and the clutch pedal was stuck to the floor! I'm presuming there is a clutch cable that may have come loose or snapped? Maybe a clutch cylinder needs replacing? Just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to do a few checks before I get it dragged over to my local garage.

Thanks in advance,

Simon :(

It'll be a slave or master clutch cylinder I'd imagine.

Check in the footwell up by the end of the clutch pedal and see if it's wet. If it is it's most likely that. If not jack it up and there's an inspection hole on the bell housing which will either be wet or dry. Both are pretty straight forward to change if you're a bit of a DIY mechanic. Starter motor has to be removed to get to the slave. It only takes 2 bolts and 3 wires to remove though. The master is just a case of the 2 bolts on it and a clip in the cabin.
