First, is it possible and, second, if it is where would I get one from?

I'm not looking to tow heavy caravans or the like but do a lot of track days and events with my motorbikes. I'm fed up with constantly hiring vans but the 944 is the only car that is "mine". A tow bar fitted and a twin bike trailer would soon pay for itself in saved van rentals.

Try Watling Towbars they do most makes & I think have drawings for a lot. For a lightweight trailer I've used a piece of angle across the dumb irons in the past. Might be worth seeing if the details are in the workshop manual, some of the accessory stuff is.

i have a towbar on my s2 - its the same one for a late turbo (there are different types depending on what rear diffuser is fitted). as mentioned give watling towbars a call, mine was on the shelf and they gave me 20% off list.

eta: you can still buy a new one from porsche but the quote was almost four figures, supply only!
