Hi, just had my car corner weighted and the total came in at 1212kg with 1/3 tank of fuel. How is this comparable with others out there ?
Car has fiberglass wings and mirrors, sound proofing stripped out but carpets replaced and rear cage. Trouble is now I have a figure to try and better !

GRP bonnet and polycarbonate hatch. The cars are just heavy though so even approaching 1,000kgs will require acid dipping, loom cutting and the loss of a lot of comfort.

Seats are very heavy and so is the spare wheel, jack and tools which you can delete if you treat your tyres.

Thanks. I was really trying to see what figures other people are achieving.
Seats, spare wheel, tools removed.Polycarbonate hatch maybe a long term aim but the bonnet I have had louvres pressed in it and will be keeping that for the moment to aid heat extraction.
