Firstly I've had some problems with wipers and screenwash not working too well before, so I replaced both the indicator and wiper stalks with new from OPC about 1 year ago.

Then very recently, the intermittent wipers came on for one wipe when using the indicators. I ignored that for a few days, but then it worsened such that intermittent is stuck on all the time, irrespective of the stalk position. I have only been able to bypass the problem by removing the relay. In this situation the screenwash works, and all the constant wipe positions work, but don't automatically park (obviously due to the relay).

Any pointers for solving this? I have been told it could be an errant bad earth joining the indicator and wiper circuits together. With new stalks I can assume that those switch contacts are clean. I could replace the relay, but it would be useful to know where to start.
