So I ordered another set of front discs for the Cab and received yet another set of M030 discs - which will of course not fit my car! ECP have accepted that they've messed up on the listing hence the confusion (although I should have known I suppose that left and right discs being different is the clue here...) and have agreed to pick them up - handy cos they're really heavy and would cost a fortune to ship! They also have the smaller correct discs in stock but .... the farkler in me says I need to 'upgrade' the brakes...! So, is there any real-world value in keeping these discs and swapping to the bigger brakes, or should I just keep the standard calipers and treat it to new discs and pads ...?? Any thoughts welcome... Cheers Greg |

Im not sure that 'just swapping' really covers it. You can buy caliper adapters to convert radially mounted calipers to your axial mountings, but they will cost £100 and you will need the calipers and new brake hoses too. |

Yup - I knew that there was more to it than just throwing dishplate discs on it lol... however it is relatively straightforward with a few bits and bobs ... Anyone got any 'spare' GTS calipers kicking around?? G |

I'm using the factory non m030 flexible lines on my m030 calipers. 944 Man wrote: you will need the calipers and new brake hoses too.

Standard brakes in good working order are all a road going 944 ever needs. |

Indeed, standard brakes are OK. If you really wish to upgrade then you will either need some M030 uprights and some proper hoses to do the job properly or the adaptors. |
