I know that a selection of the 944/968/928/964/993 calipers will bolt straight onto the 944 hubs. Eg small/medium and big reds/blacks.

But was also interested to hear if other newer calipers from boxster/996/997 bolt on? Or will work with custom brackets etc.

Can anyone shed some light on options, also interested to hear of brake setups people are using apart from the usual early brembos and 928s4 front upgrade etc

many thanks
nick

Boxster ones will, several people make brackets.

I've got 986 2.7 boxster brakes on my front. Using brackets from the porscheshop but they look easy enough to fabricate at home so I'm sure you'll be able to sort something :)

Are there any advantages of using the boxster calipers over the original calipers /m030 fronts. What size discs do you use with them?

Can they be fitted front and rear?

Are there different size calipers from different spec boxsters?

996 turbo or gt3 brakes would be nice! Anyone fitted these?

Cheers

Will the Boxster ones fit inside 16" teledials?

Don't quote me on this but I think the plate lift issue is a much smaller issue on the Boxster than it is on a 944. If that is true, it is enough of a reason to convert them IMO!
