I bought this car fron copart earlier this year to use as a Doaner car for my project. It was lovely preaccident car. Just wondered if anyone knows anything of its history

Vultures! Just goes to show how tricky it's becoming to get parts for these cars now...

Shame that is as it looked like its been well cared for :( I take it the running gear is being dropped in another '44 shell?

Lol. Thanks for all the interest. I'm not selling it for bits. I'm going to use it for my own project. The complete interior is going into my palls 944 and I'm going to use everything else for my own 944 project (thread to follow)

It was a lovely car which has a great spec.

Did you have much competition bidding on it ? Usually the breakers snatch cars like that and charge extortionate prices for everything :x

There was quite a bit of interest tbh. I had a price that I didn't want to go over. Right place right time I guess ;~))
