Since acquiring Snow White, Red's twin sister I have decided to give Red a wee upgrade. Recent work on red includes fuel tank repair, new fuel lines, new clutch, short shift. In january I had the head removed, rebuilt and new head gasket, belts etc. In july, ecu repaired and a remap by JMG, also lots of rewiring behind fuses and relays. She is currently having new Gaz coilovers fitted, along with 944 turbo front and rear arb's (didn't have a rear fitted before) I have just had fitted 16" cup 1's with 205 front and 225 Bridgestone SO2's on the rear So, what's next ? Hmmmmm ![]() 968 Engine ![]() Going to do head gasket, belts and waterpump before fitting, hopefully mid Oct Engine with ECU, engine loom, sensors (inc maf), 944 S2 Bell housing, 944 S2 flywheel. 944 S2 exhaust manifold, 944S2 clutch Conversion of wiring, hoses, air filter/induction some 968 brakes and hubs too while i'm at it. I was tempted to leave it as a sleeper but as Dave from Daytona Coachworks was with me at Brands last month, we looked at the Carrera GT's there and decided it needed to be done. There are a variety of places to buy the different parts required but it is false economy to buy the cheap parts as many have found out. |

That will be a fantastic car. Will be watching this one with interest. Daytona Coachworks is only 10 minutes from me. I'd love to come and check out the car when it's in the shop. Dave quoted me for some bodywork last year which I plan to do early next year so our cars could be workshop buddies. |

EMC did years ago build a 924 GCT rep with 968 running gear. It was said to be quite a beast! |

Buttercup built it but it wasn't great. Lali Atwal bought it and EMC made it work. I have the polycarbonate hatch in my garage. |
