Wanted

I am after a turbine shaft for a k26/8 turbo or will buy a complete unit, doesn't have to be perfect as long as I can use the shaft.

Cash waiting,

If you do not want to post, pick up may be possible.

Thanks, Gav.

If you need a Turbo from Brum/Worcester or South Warwickshire way let me know, and I shall be happy to pick it up/keep hold of it for you (or if I manage to somehow come across one). I do now and again go past MK quite a bit as well.

I would have thought you would have a few K26/8 bits lying around now though! .

Thanks Chas!

I have lots of bits but I do not have a decent 26/8 shaft.

I can't find a good 26/8 turbo let alone a blown one.

I think I will be putting mine back to stock at this rate, the car has been off the road all summer as I need this part to repair the k27/8 - I stupidly sold my original turbo.

Thanks,
Was nice to meet you too!

Its a fantastic car you have, lots of money and development in that one!
It unusual to meet an owner who know so much about the tech side of their car.

I trial bolted it all together with my cold side on your turbo when I got back, the turbo seems fine.
My K27s seem to have similar lag to a 26/8 but with a lot more top end push.
I am sending it off for rebuild and balance as soon as I get time to remove it.

There will be little benefit until I get a maf kit, but I will get it on the dyno at Northampton motorsport to see that it does on the ported AFM.

Thanks. Was nice to get option from someone who quite respected for they own bespoke work. Think you should give everyone a tease pic off your huge kkk turbo. Looks like you could fit a straight pipe from the turbo to ic

Iv read off a car making over 400 on afm, But admit it you loved the app

Ha, I think I have told everyone I met since about the app!

Yes, I do need to swap the boost pipe, but the bendy one has the banjo for the W/G on it atm..

Mines just got a nipped wield on Underneath realised that's what you was asking about. There's kits that go in to rubber cupping if you can't wield. Sure you can get alloy pipe pre swage and nipple on. Test it with plastic pipe first see if a straight but will work with no angles.

How cool what the android app bit on a 7in android head unit with built in boost display.
