Hi guys

After many weeks sorting rear brake pipes and overhauling calipers, I have one final snag.

one side ( Outside of near side front caliper) Wont bleed anything at all! Before I strip it down again

Any thing worth trying.

cheers

Mark

is the bleed nipple blocked? take it right out and see if it leaks fluid

Good point, been a long day! They are new but could be blocked.

I will try this tomorrow.

I would not discount the flexible hose either. You can undo it from the caliper and see what comes out so as to rule the hose out.

I had a couple of minor leaks else where and the air from my gunson self bleed kit was draining and not forcing through.
Fully bled now!
I have done a fair amount of work on the brakes about to test run very tentatively tonight.
thanks for the response.

Where I did mine the nipples were corroded enough to 'drag' the thread inside the caliper and make getting them to seal impossible... I ended up using PTFE tape on the nipple threads which gave enough of a seal to be able to bleed them properly - of course when you nip them up the seal is made on the bottom of the nipple so using ptfe tape won't matter at all to that bit ...
