Hi folks,

I would like to put a set of Fuchs on my 1990 951.

I believe there are Fuchs with a 951 part number but they were for early 951's that had a different offset to the later car like mine, and I cannot find any info as to whether they would fit.

There a few Fuchs replicas on ebay..

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=fuchs&_from=R40&_osacat=14770&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xfuchs+17%22&_nkw=fuchs+17%22&_sacat=14770

..and in they do them in 17".. Ideal! They all seem to be listed to fit 911's, no mention of 944's..

A couple of questions..

Will they fit my car?
If so what offset do I order?
Are they any good?

Thanks!

Hi

The top listing in that Ebay link was for these:

SET OF 4 Wheels. Front 7.5J ET35 & Rear 9.0J ET16
replacement Fuchs style wheels.
BLACK CENTRE with POLISHED outer rim

Its the ET35 and ET16 numbers you need to pay attention to as they indicate offset

Have a look on your car and if it has original Porsche wheels then the size including ET number should be in the casting by the valve, you can then see if they are a direct fit or maybe you might need spacers the width of which you can calculate using one of the many online offset calculators... http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

I don't know your original 951 figures so either look at the rims on your car or search this forum, someone is bound to have mentioned fitment before

Cheers

The ones listed won't fit, they are early 944 & 911 fitment. Your later 951 requires an ET of 52.3 if I remember correctly.
