Post subject: | clutch bell housing truble |
Hi all,,ok got a problem,,944 s 2.5 16v the shaft that holds the clutch falk in place is seezed solid in the bell housing,,so i can not get housing off is there a way to remove the housing with this clutch falk in place? thanks Dave |

remove the clutch bolts through the starter motor hole. |

Tried a home made slide hammer? They are bloody tight from my experience. PS it is FORK! |

team44 wrote: ok will try the bolts,,and yes it is a fork ![]() D 5 seconds on Google gives this. I'd use a bit of studding & something with a bit of weight on it to act as the hammer. As I said they are normally very tight, bit of heat might help.

Hi, I take it you have removed the bolt that holds the fork bolt in place. Otherwise, the clark slide hammer from machinemart (£58) is particularly good. The original white grease porsche put in sets hard over time and even with the slide hammer took a considerable amount of force to get out. |

Three hours ![]() ![]() so plan B ![]() ![]() tomorow is fly wheel then the large crank seal ,,,what can go wrong thanks for the help boys D |
