Tried a home made slide hammer? They are bloody tight from my experience.

PS it is FORK!

5 seconds on Google gives this. I'd use a bit of studding & something with a bit of weight on it to act as the hammer. As I said they are normally very tight, bit of heat might help.

Hi, I take it you have removed the bolt that holds the fork bolt in place. Otherwise, the clark slide hammer from machinemart (£58) is particularly good. The original white grease porsche put in sets hard over time and even with the slide hammer took a considerable amount of force to get out.

Three hours  :x i made the slide hamer, and slamed the crap out of it with no joy, even with heat (and a small fire with all the WD & oil i put on) i even riped the nuts of the end of it i was hiting it so hard.
so plan B :x :x take out the bolts,,,two had rounded heads,,,so plan C drill them off,,snaped three bits,,and after three hours got the bell housing off, (with plate and fork still inside) so more heat and a big bar from the top hole hit with a club hamer 5 to 6 times loosend it off
tomorow is fly wheel then the large crank seal ,,,what can go wrong

thanks for the help boys
