Hi all
Does any one no what can be used to protect the brake pipes on my 944 turbo I have replaced most with original parts from mid Sussex porsche but the off side rear that runs from the calliper to the flexi is not available . I can get it made up but the originals have a plastic tubing on them it protects the pipe where it clips on to the rear suspension . Anyone used an alternative or can advise what to use to protect the pipe

Wax oyl

Wax oil is ok for other bits lithium grease makes less mess.this is rigid plastic tubing to hard for heat shrink stops the pipe rubbing against the Ali trailing. Arms rigid air hose may do just checking if any one had tried anything

I just did mine this week. Made new pipes in cupro nickel. Put some heat shrink on the pipe before flaring the end, then sliced the plastic off the old pipe along its length, put it on the new pipe in the same place and then put the heag shrink over it to hold it I place. I could of course just have put new plastic tubing on before flaring, but I didn't have any.
