Nothing missing but you can adjust the hatch pins until it is a tight fit. I did mine recently but put new pins in first |

I adjusted the pins till the boot kept popping open then backed off until it was tight. I haven't replaced the pins (they look ok) but the rubbers around them are well worn... alex |

If you spray water around the hatch area, does any get in? Another place to check for exhaust gases getting in, is the inner gear gaiter. These are prone to splitting and can cause exhaust/engine smells to get pulled into the cabin. |

Thanks all. I did the gator gear thingy first. It helped a bit. The seal also helped a bit. Spraying with water sounds a good idea. The dogs btw. Make their own very different gasses :O It's only really when the sun roof is open though, causing a a vacuum and the fumes to get sucked in. Alex |
