Having only recently purchased my 944 S2 I'm still getting to know it.

All had been going well until last week when it cut out on me while waiting at a set of lights and failed to restart until it had cooled down. This scenario repeated itself a couple more times and hence I booked it into the garage for an auto electrician to investigate.

He diagnosed a partially blocked fuel filter that was causing the DME/fuel pump relay to overload/overheat, eventually malfunctioning causing the car to cut out. On this basis the car has had a new fuel filter and a DME relay fitted and so far it's running fine. I have noticed however that the new DME relay is still getting quite hot during use which makes me worry that there is still something amiss? Could anyone advise further / check to see if your replay gets hot?

Thanks in advance :)
