I was considering a Rogue MAF kit and injectors but supply seems a bit sporadic, so is anyone running a proven standalone MAP/MAF setup supplied from within the UK that doesn't cost several thousands or take hours on a dyno to fire it up ?

I know you said I the UK but as you were looking at Rogue, what about their new replacement, mappable ecu rather than the maf kit.

augtronic is probably best on an 8v car due to the twin crank sensors (aftermarket ecu's will not understand) unless you fit a new crank wheel / sensor arrangement.
the 16v cars use a more common 60-2 crank wheel with a single sensor which any ecu will be able to compute. im not aware of many cars using a non standard ecu though.

I think the Rogue ECU is a modernised replacement for the standard DME ? Combine that with his MAF kit/injectors and UK import duty/VAT and I think it's basic standalone money, plus using the original 23+ year old wiring loom. Plus it's not his main job so supply seems hit or miss.

It's still an unknown quantity to me.

As another very happy customer of Augment automotive I would highly recommend them.
I don't think you could go wrong.
Also If you talk to Tom he is very helpful and has lots of very interesting features up and coming.

I am keeping an eye on lacedr's 951 which is running Emerald management. On other cars I have seen good results with such a setup :). Of course it is not quite the plug and play solution that Rogue tuning and Augtronic are (if I am honest I am tempted to go with the latter).

It all depends on if you can do your own tuning. With barks you can get support via wifi. Do you want aftermarket pods and gauges or just an app that's displays every on your mobile?

I want gauges, to me a phone is for talking to people.

That made me laugh! I have 2 lovely gauges in my former cubby residence and very nice they look too! A nice white AFR gauge with digital and analogue readings and a lovely white VDO boost gauge. I like the contrasts to the dash dials and it reminds any passengers they are in a mildly fettled vehicle!

G pulling should be more then apparent. Gauges are just more expensive

Same here, a white Innovate AFR gauge and a white VDO boost gauge, thinking about an oil temp gauge to fill the last space :). I don't want to receive a text telling me my engine just went bang  .
