Post subject:  944 s2 rear brakes

Hi all

I am lining up parts for my rear brakes 944 s2 rear brakes. I have pads, handbrake shoes, discs.
rear hoses.

cap head screws to deal with any plate I believe i will need a fitting kit for the hand brake shoes, can anyone advise me were i might get these, OPC? What price?

I need to also buy anti vibration dampers/shims what size do i need. I think there are two sizes within each caliper.

Any advice on what is needed and where to best source would be great.

Its a standard s2

thanks

Mark

I've just had my discs off and cleaned up the calipers - the one tip I can offer is to replace the plate screws (which are made from a special German market only alloy of stainless steel and cream cheese) with black high tensile steel button-heads which will not disintegrate at the first sight of an allen key.
