As per title,do i need to put a bit of sealant in the corners? The gasket is new Thanks,Tim |

FWIW ... I smeared Hylomar generously over the whole gasket, not just the corners... I figured it couldn't hurt! G |

just in the corners is all you need under the gasket a little black RTV or clear is good, no need to plaster the lot |

Clean the head contact area and the groove the seal fits in Use no sealer and tighten in sequence from the middle out and I got no probs or oil leaks |

I used the same method as Dave above, but I do seem to remember that Porsche recommend adding RTV to the corners. |
