Hi all

I have bought a gunson self ezibleed kit, along with a spare wheel/tyre from a scrap yard.

I am going to bleed the brakes thoroughly this week any tips?

I have also bought some brake fluids from my local motor factors giving full details of the car, they supplied me DOT 4 fluid that is Synthetic. Is this okay?

Finally what torque do I set for my wheel nuts, and is this best achieved in stages.

Any help is most welcome.

Mark

although there is no definitive method of bleeding the brakes in the manual, I have always started at the furthest point from the master cylinder, seems to work best for me anyway

you do not want huge pressure in the bleeder about 7-10 PSI is enough

wheel nuts are 90 Lbs/Foot
